What’s it like to be an MQ Fellow? Read our interview with Dr. Rebecca Etkin from Yale Medical School to find out more.

  • The MQ Mental Health Research Fellows Award supports the best and brightest early career scientists, from any discipline, who are asking challenging questions that will contribute to transformative advances in mental health research.

The program includes a package of support and up to $332,500 USD in funding over three years. ‍

Prior experience with EMDR therapy is helpful but not a requirement of this dedicated funding steam. EMDR just needs to be incorporated into the study in some way.

    If you are studying: ‍

    • Post Traumatic Stress Disorder

    • Depression therapies

    • ‍Children and young people’s mental health

    • Military personnel and veterans

    • Civilian trauma survivors

    • Indigenous populations

And could incorporate EMDR into your research then we want to hear from you.

Get in touch with our grants team to see if you could be eligible for this funding call. We are happy to answer any questions about the scope of this funding, eligibility and the application process and can offer advice and support your application. grants@mqmentalhealth.org
